Moved to Central Florida
I have a new site started up and running now that we moved to Auburndale, Florida. I am still doing alot of kayaking and kayak racing, just in a different part of the South. If you wish to follow my trips and races in Florida, just click on Kayak Canoe Florida. Since we moved here, I have another toy, a Wilderness Systems Northstar tandem, so Linda and I are now out exploring the rivers and coast in Central Florida. I will most likely no longer post on this site, but keep it semi-active for the present.

Heads up! There's a new kayak business headed your way. She runs trips here in AK and is a violator of MMPA and ESA protections for both marine mammals and seabirds. Frequently harassing nesting puffins into leaving their burrows for photo op.'s and encroaching on sea otters until they abandon their young and harbor seals until they abandon their haulout. She plans on kayaking with alligators and manatees in FL in the winter. Steer clear of this one: akwildadventures.

Hey, how's it going
I work at Palm Pictures, a film company in New York, and we have cool canoe sweepstakes i though you might be into. We recently put out an Australian Film called Ten Canoes, which won the Jury Prize at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. We are sponsoring a sweepstakes where the winner will win a trip for two to Australia for 7days to explore Australia's Northern Territory!! Definitely check out the sweepstakes at www.tencanoessweepstakes.com to participate!
take it easy,

I'm a paddler who lives on an island in the Pacific Northwest where I kayak most of the year in 600 foot deep, cold salt water. I just published a fun little book on kayaking in this area called "Paddling the Waters of Vashon Island," which I am trying to publicize.
I have a regular blog about kayaking Vashon which is located at www.VashonKayakBook.com, and I would like to ask you to add my site to your list of kayak blogger links. There are some nice photos, and what I see when I paddle up here is very different from what you see paddling where you are.
I'm putting together a links section for my blog and if you’d like me to, I'll add your blog to my list.
